Agree, this is advanced charge for room reservation at Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. They make this deposit charge a few weeks before arrival (in my case). I booked my stay for a professional conference, so didn't book directly with Luxor but rather through the conference's website. I've emailed the conference team asking for a receipt.
